Inventory System
In preparation for our biggest bottling yet (around 12/22/08) I instituted a barcode inventory system with Cellar Trackerколи под наем. Now all we need to do is get Chuck to tell me how many bottles are in his cellar.

Dry Creek Zinfandel/Petite Sirah Blend for 2008
We have decided to go with G&M Vineyards again for our half-ton of grapes this year.
I just hung up with Levi and last week the Zin was at 19, the Petite a little behind. He is predicting harvest third or fourth week in September.
He also suggested we either get a year-old barrel or use the existing one and add a sock full of oak chunks. I am going to the Beverage People site and research what we will need.

Welcome JoeV
We are now three Wise Acres with the addition of our third partner. Joe has been an integral part of the winery for literally weeks. He has been our acting general counsel, grape picker, crushmaster and a natural wiseacre.
We are excited and lucky to have him.
