Of the two names

For some reason this blog software doesn’t show the name of the author. As I am sure everyone can figure out, the Deaux Visage posting was written by my partner Chuck. We have been trying to come up with a name for our budding winery and when I came to the site to see that Chuck had posted a description of my wine-in-the-face night I noticed that he had misspelled “deux” as “du.” You see I know this because I am a know-it-all-except-that-Chuck-knows-French-better. He intended the subject to mean literally “of the face.” This I found out after I stuck my editor’s nose in and corrected his “mistake.” I thought he meant Two Face(s). I thought “What a clever name!”

So Chuck comes along to the site and sees that I have fixed his typo and after–I am sure– a brief annoyance at my intrusion, he understands why I had done it. Then he thinks, “What a clever name!”
